Canada’s western provinces and Alaska are one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. With vast forests, mountains, glaciers and a wealth of wildlife. A trip into the Canadian Rockies or a cruise up to Alaska will certainly live up to its reputation.
This galley of images taken on our self drive trips to British Columbia and a cruise along the inside passage. Hopefully shows some of the diversity of wildlife and scenery that a traveler will encounter.
Starting in Vancouver, we travelled both inland into the high Rockies and out to Vancouver Island on our first trip. Whilst on the second visit to British Columbia our road trip took us again to Vancouver Island and the coastal forests of the mainland, before sailing up the inside passage to the spectacular scenery and wildlife of Alaska’s Glacier Bay NP
